Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

I stumbled across this cool magic trick recently.

I love the impromptu nature of the effect, and I’ve never heard of it before.

Next time your friend is drinking redbull, you can perform some totally impromptu magic. Enjoy!

Magician Criticised over “Sick” Stunt

Monday, October 8th, 2007

Magician Keith Barry has attracted criticism over his latest stunt, set to be aired on ITV.

The magician will  hang up 6 nooses in front of a live studio audience, one of them a dud, then ask a spectator to select one.

The performer will then proceed to attempt to hang himself using the selected noose. Presumably magically revealing the selected noose to be the dud.

The stunt has outraged many, with one Charlie O’Connor stating:

“This so-called trick is disgraceful and disgusting. It is the most insensitive attention seeking stunt I have witnessed in a long time. For this horrific and tragic act to be shown on national television and considered as entertaining viewing is an outrage.”

Let’s just hope that this doesn’t end up as new material for ‘Magic tricks gone wrong’!
